Than you for your interest in SewArt!
Here is some more information about Monica, the owner-operator of this fine sewing studio:

Already as a child, she loved to design and create. From small pieces of fabrics she would create wonderful, original costumes for her dolls. Later, she regularly designed and sewed garments for her family and herself.

In the 1990-s, as a senior expert at one of the major museums in Poland, she designed and created sets of typical 19th and 20th century middle-class home interiors, as well as a 19th and 20th century fashion exhibit, all of which gathered critical acclaim in the home city and then toured various other cities in Poland and abroad.

Her professional background (Masters in History of Art) gave her a perfect insight into styles and fashion of past centuries, enriching her creative palette of ideas with vast knowledge and understanding of styles.

Since 2002 in Victoria. One of her first projects here has been the collaboration with the Royal Holographic Art Gallery, for which she designed and created special props and costumes, as well as sketches for scene actions for their shooting sessions. (See letter of Appreciation)

Also here, she was entrusted to save 100 years old traditionally made artistic lace from age-caused destruction, restoring it to its full former glory. This complicated job combined her sewing abilities and manual talents, with her profound knowledge of era and art restoration – proving her unmatched professional skills in these areas.
At present she runs her own business, SewArt, designing and sewing unique artistic interior décor accessories and ladies’ attire.

Also invited on numerous occasions as a guest of Victoria radio talk shows on art history, styles, etc.

Since last year, she has been collaborating with one of the most elegant décor stores, IPS Décor, as well as with the well-known designer and decorator companies, Ivan Meade Group, and Jayar Uphostery Interiors. She also works for a rapidly growing private clientele.

Join her exclusive group of highly satisfied clients - but only if you strive for the best. Call her now to discuss your dream project you’ve been putting aside for such a long time – it may be your unique chance to have it done!
